Visita ai tesori arabi e orientalistici della Biblioteca Antica del Seminario di Padova. Iscrizione obbligatoria con Form Online che sarà attivato da Biblioteca e Fttr. Bibbia e Corano sono due testi sacri spesso accostati, ma profondamente differenti. Alcuni tesori della Biblioteca Antica del Seminario di Padova sono l’occasione per scoprire paesaggi affascinanti di questi mondi, agli albori dell’orientalistica cattolica moderna nel Seicento, della quale il lucchese Ludovico Marracci (1612-1700) fu una delle figure più significative. Marracci infatti completò la revisione globale della Bibbia in arabo, pubblicata a Roma nel 1671: “Biblia Sacra Arabica” e realizzò anche la traduzione integrale in latino del Corano, stampata dalla Tipografia del Seminario di Padova nel 1698, per diretto interessamento del cardinale Gregorio Barbarigo.
