Le diverse branche della matematica dialogano con l’arte, l’architettura, la storia, la cultura e la geografia dei territori. In questo laboratorio avrete la possibilità di approfondire alcuni di questi intrecci alla scoperta della città di Genova. Vi cimenterete in attività che mettono in relazione tipici luoghi e spazi della città con le loro connessioni con la matematica. Il percorso sarà suddiviso in postazioni che toccano elementi caratteristici, come i vicoli o le pavimentazioni degli edifici storici, associati, rispettivamente, alla teoria dei grafi e alle tassellazioni. Esplorerete anche il rapporto tra navigazione e matematica, con riferimenti alla geometria sferica e ai sistemi di coordinate. Sarà l’occasione per vedere Genova sotto la lente della matematica.
