Il Sole non soffre certo di pigrizia, ma ha un'attività che segue un ciclo di 11 anni e potrebbe raggiungere il suo massimo proprio nel periodo del Festival. E mai come in questa occasione la nostra stella è in grado di dare spettacolo: enormi macchie solari come non si vedevano da tempo, esplosioni e getti di materia che si innalzano per migliaia di chilometri nello spazio... In questo laboratorio potremo catturare al meglio l’attività del Sole con i telescopi solari di cui l’Osservatorio è dotato e, grazie a giochi ed esperimenti didattici, approfondiremo insieme i fenomeni magnetici che la caratterizzano. In caso di condizioni meteo sfavorevoli, sarà la proiezione del Planetario a permetterci di viaggiare verso la nostra stella per scoprire i suoi segreti, consentendoci inoltre di osservare la riproduzione di un'aurora boreale senza doverci avvicinare ai Poli.
